Criminal Justice

Currently the Co Durham Criminal Justice Team manage all of the mandated court orders such as Alcohol Treatment Requirements and Drug Rehabilitation Requirements, as well as continuity of care for prison inmate releases.

Programmes of care for criminal justice clients have been restructured and include both behaviour change and clinical components dependent on individual need.

Clients are tasked to participate in a suite of groups we provide, relevant to their drug of choice / behaviours.

We have developed seamless pathways and information sharing agreements with our criminal justice partners to ensure referrals into service are uncomplicated and timely and we have a strong platform for joint working.   Our vision is to ensure the criminal justice team create a collaborative culture, which supports positive shared outcomes for service users.
